Tundra Satellite Office Upgrade
Designed Windows 2003 Server upgrade for remote offices. Created VPN mesh to integrate remote offices with present offices. Upgraded existing Windows 2000 Active Directory to Windows 2003 Active Directory. Deployed custom real time data synchronizing solution for large volume of data (up to 20 GB) between workstations and server.

Support, maintenance, and future planning of a small Windows 2000 network and corporate website.
Mediplan Health Network Design, Deployment, and Support
Designed a Windows 2000 network running Active Directory in three separate locations. Configured and deployed Cisco routers and switches to allow for a faster network. A Cisco router to router VPN was built to allow for security between sites and Cisco VPN endpoints were configured to allow remote users access to the network without exposing the network to remote attacks. Tsunami wireless 56 Mbps links were also put in place between two of the buildings to allow for high speed network access when local ISP resources were either not fast enough (DSL) or not cost effective (fiber).
Tundra Satellite Office Deployment
Designed and built a Linux Samba server to integrate into a remote office in Calgary. Offices were connected by a Cisco router to router VPN and authenticated to Windows 2000 network in Winnipeg. Script written to backup up files from Calgary workstations to Linux Samba server and then replicated to Winnipeg Windows 2000 server.
Niverville WISP Analysis
Technical consultant for the Town of Niverville during RFP process for constructing a local wireless internet service provider (WISP). Responsible for writing RFP and evaluating responses. Also provided direction for how to build and design WISP infrastructure.
Network and WAN/VPN Maintenance
Maintain a Windows 2000 Server/Windows XP Professional based network including remote management, software distribution, hot fix and patch updates.
Windows NT Transition for Government of Manitoba
Built and deployed Windows NT 4.0 servers, Cisco switches, and IBM desktops. Helped transition approximately 11,000 desktops and 300 servers.
French Office 2000 Deployment
Designed and deployed French version of Office 2000 Premium into the Government of Manitoba managed environment.
Windows 2000/XP Design & Transition
Designed and deployed Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP Professional desktops to the local and remote site. Designed and configured all aspects of server and desktop systems including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, permissions and security, print services, and application installation and deployment. Also helped with UNIX system reconfiguration and printing integration with Windows 2000/XP via Samba.
Government of Manitoba Server Consolidation
Help design and plan consolidation of 60 Windows NT 4.0 servers into 3 Windows 2000 Advanced Server clusters. Responsible for SAN and cluster design along with helping with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and migration plans.

Analyzed a Windows 2000 Professional system image and made recommendations for updates, changes and deployment of the system image.
Windows Peer-to-Peer Network Design & Deployment
Designed and deployed a Windows 95/98 peer to peer network for shared printing and file access. Implemented anti-virus and remote management tools.

Designed the peer-to-peer to client/server transition from the Windows 95/98 network to a Windows 2000 server network with Windows 95/98/2000 professional clients.
